Wabash, Aug. 8 –

Funeral services for Mrs. Mitchell King, about 90, former Roann resident, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Jones Funeral Home, followed by burial in Falls Cemetery.

Mrs. King, who was the widow of (Mitch) King, Civil War Veteran, who was the proprietor of a hotel in Roann for many years, died this morning at the home of a daughter in Fort Wayne. She had been living in Fort Wayne for the past three years.

Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Howard Smith of Fort Wayne and one son, Orville King of Marion. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
