WABASH MAN DIES IN FIRE Body Found in Ruins of Small Shack Wabash, Nov. 4 - Fire believed to have started from a stove or a lamp early today took the life of Vachael Stewart, 45, World War veteran, at his two-room shack near the city dump. The home was destroyed by the blaze. The fire was discovered at 4 am by Zenno Malott, assistant chief of police. Wabash fireman extinguished the flames and found the body on the floor. He apparently had been awakened and had started for the door when he was overcome and fell. Officials believed that the flames must have started from a gasoline cook stove or a kerosene lamp.
