Closson Wagoner, son of E. T. Wagoner, near Wabash, lost his life in an unusual manner Thursday. The lad was out hunting with an old musket for a weapon, and placing the gun beneath his arm, attempted to vault across a ditch six feet in width by the use of a pole. The gun was discharged, the load striking the boy beneath the chin, and literally blowing his head from his body.
