Wabash, August 25 –

Allen Wilson, 45, Wabash rural mail carrier, died this morning at the Hines Veterans’ Hospital at Maywood, Ill. A native and lifelong resident of Wabash County, he was a World War Veteran and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Charlotte Custer Wilson; three sons, one daughter and several brothers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Bachelor Creek Christian Church north of here with Rev. James Sailors and Rev. Mark Ashley officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.

The local American Legion Post and the Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside rites.
