YOPST Wabash, Mar. 2 – Funeral services for George A. Yopst, 79, former Wabash Circuit Court reporter who died here at his home Friday evening, will be held at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Fred W. Wolff of the Christian Church will have charge and burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Mr. Yopst who had been ill for several years, came to Wabash more than 40 years ago after his graduation from Butler University. He was born near Tippecanoe and received his early education there. Mr. Yopst served as court reporter here for 34 years and during that time learned to know nearly everyone connected with the legal profession in this action of the state. He is survived by his widow and five children, Mrs. Glenn Coffey and Mrs. Walter Schlemmer of Wabash, Mildred Yopst of near Garrett, Jacob Yopst of Muskegon, Mich., and Walter Yopst of Fort Wayne.
