Crawfordsville, Indiana MELLOTT – Mrs. Nora Gebhart Brooks, 66,
died at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Community Hospital at
Williamsport. She had been hospitalized the past three
weeks. She was born Nov. 11, 1893 near Little Rock, Ark.
She married David Brooks, who preceded her in death. Mrs.
Brooks lived in Williamsport for a number of years. When
her health began failing about 10 months ago she moved
here to the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. S.A. Wade.
Mrs. Wade is her only known survivor. Funeral services
will be held at 2 p.m. (EST) Tuesday at Machledt Funeral
Home at Williamsport. Burial will be in a Williamsport
