MRS. JANE GARRARD WATKINS
MRS. JANE WATKINS DIES AT AGE OF 81 Mrs. JANE (GERRARD) WATKINS, 81, widow of HENRY WATKINS, died Monday morning at 9 o'clock at the family residence, 415 South Fourth street. Born Aug. 12, 1853, in Warren county, she was the daughter of SAMUEL and JULIET GERRARD. Surviving are four sons, ELMER, LOUIS and WILLIAM, of this city, and HARLEY WATKINS, of Kokomo; also four daughters, Mrs. ALICE RILEY and Mrs. PEARL REYNOLDS, of Lafayette; Mrs. CHARLES BOYLES, Pittsburg, Ind., Mrs. CLARA McNEELEY, Glasgow, Ky., and a brother, OLIVER GERRARD, Tacoma, Wash. The body was removed to the Soller and Baker funeral home and will later be taken to the residence, where friends may call after 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services from the Battle Ground U.B. church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. C.T. Walker officiating. Interment in Battle Ground cemetery. Source: Lafayette
