Can No. 2337, Bundle No. 85.  State of Indiana, Montgomery County. On this 20th day of August A. D. 1849. Before me, the undersigned a 
Justice of the Peace in and for the Said County personally came, Lavina Furgeson who being duly sworn according to law, makes oath and 
says that She is one of the Sisters, and that Paula Furgason, and Emaline Clark are the other sisters, and that Sterling Condry, Lilburn Condry 
and Thomas Condry are the Brothers, of the identicle Albert Condry, a late private in Captain Mansons Company, in the 5th Regiment of 
Indiana Volunteers in the late war with Mexico, and who died in said Service, while in the line of his duty--and that the above named are all the 
Brothers and Sisters, that said 
Albert Condry had, except, one Sister, named Susan Johnston, who has gone to part unknown,
and has not been heard from by her connection for more than twenty years, and deponant
versily believes that She said Susan is dead, and that said Albert Condry left no wife, child, 
father, nor mother nor any other brother nor Sister living.  [Signed] Lavina Furgison Subscribed
and sworn to before me the day and year above written, Charles D. Johnston [Seal] Justice of
the Peace.  State of Indiana, Montgomery County.  I Allen May do hereby certify on honour, that
I was late a Lieutenant Colonel of the fifth Regiment of Indiana Volunteers in the late war with 
Mexico, and that the foregoing named Albert Condry was mustered in as a Private in Captain
Mansons Company in said Regiment, on the 8th day of October 1847 for the Term of enduring
the war, that he actually served in said company in Mexico, and while engaged in the Service
of the United States, he died at San Augustine in Mexico, and the 28th day of May 1848, of 
Sickness contracted while in the line of his duty--Given under my hand at Crawfordsville in the
