WILLIAM PUMPHREY FUNERAL

Funeral services for the late William Pumphrey, a Bartholomew county soldier, who died of Spanish influenza at Camp Taylor, was held from the home of the soldier's widowed mother, Mrs. Mary E. Pumphrey, near Rugby, this morning. The body was laid to rest in the Moravian cemetery at Hope. The arrival of the body was delayed since Monday, the time announced for its arrival.
