Golden Sunshine Bradford Bennington

Mrs. Golden Sunshine Bennington, 82, Elnora, died at the Daviess County Hospital at 9:35AM today. She was born Aug. 18, 1900 in Daviess County to William H. and Sarah J. (Paggett) Bradford. She married Virgil Bennington, May 5, 1917 and he died Jan. 15, 1974. Mrs. Bennington leaves two daughters, Mrs. Clusts (Delores) Ash, Wheatland and Mrs. Phyllis G. Chambers, Elnora and one son Andrew Brayton Bennington, Mt. Vernon; 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and one sister Mrs. Daisy Colvin, Fairfield, Calif. She was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters. The funeral will be at 1:30PM Monday at Gill Chapel with burial in the Plainville Cemetery. Friends may call after 2PM Sunday at the funeral home.
