Albert Colbert Aged Resident of Washington Died Late Yesterday--Funeral To Be Friday. Albert Colbert, aged 80 years lived at 612 Lincoln St. died at 5:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, after a serious illness of one month. Death of Mr. Colbert resulted from a complication of ailments. He had been ill for the past three months. Born October 6, 1850 in Daviess county, the deceased was a son of Davis & Elizabeth( Mattingly) Colbert. Most of his life had been spent in & around Washington. Mr. Colbert was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with burial following in the Colbert cemetery. Elwood Williams will have charge of the funeral. Suriving are to children Mrs. Eva Ennis of Washington & Mrs. Josephine West of Indianapolis. Two brothers & one sister also survive. They are Ephrain Colbert & Marion Colbert of Washington township, & Mrs. Anna Chowning of South Washington. The deceased had been married for times, to Sarah Hitch, Mathena Hopewell, Clara Hawkins & Mary E Tutter, the last of whom survives.
