Aged Woman Died Today - Mrs. Sarah J. Feagans Answers Final Summons Following Month’s Illness

Mrs. Sarah J. Davis Feagans, widow of the late I. W. Feagans, died this afternoon at 1:10 o’clock at her home at 601 East South Street.  Death followed an illness of one month which was attributed to old age. She had been seriously ill the past week.
The deceased was a widely known and highly respected woman.  She was born in Washington, April 30, 1852, and was married August 13, 1872.  She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church.

She is survived by the following children:  Mrs. T.T. Wilson, of Montgomery; Mrs. L.E. Feagans, Montgomery; Mrs. W.A. Hunter, Montgomery; Joseph Feagans, of this city; Mrs. Thomas Keith, Montpelier; and Robert C. Feagans, of Los Angeles; brothers and sisters: W.R. Davis, Mrs. Elizabeth Purcell and John Davis of Sedwick, Kansas.  She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The funeral services have not yet been arranged.
