DARREL GRABER DIES THURSDAY
Darrel Graber, 56, 314 South Meridian street, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Daviess County Hospital. He had been ill for one year & seriously ill for 6 months. Born June 9, 1909, in Daviess County, he was a son of Albert C. and Dicey F. (Myers) Graber. He married Helen LaRoche, February 11, 1928, and she survives. Mr. Graber was employed by the Martin Oil Company. He was educated in Washington schools and was a member of the EUB church. Surviving besides his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Patty) Branaman, Washington, and Mrs. Ray (Barbara) McIntire, Edinburgh, IN. He also leaves six granddaughters, one sister, Mrs. Fern Acton, Washington, and one brother, A.C. Graber, Westport, IN. One sister, Ruth Graber, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Gill Funeral Home with Rev. R.P. Hawkins officiating and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
