GREGORY FUNERAL TO BE HELD HERE
Walter William Gregory, 57, 1861 North Gayle Street, Indianapolis, died suddenly Monday morning while at work as custodian of the City School Board Building in Indianapolis. Mr. Gregory wsa born in Daviess County, Decciember 19, 1911, a son of George W. and Dell Famey (Allen) Gregory. He married Betty White October 28, 1938 and she survives. Mr. Gregory was Master of Keystone Lodge F & AM No. 251.
In addition to his widow, he leaves five daughters, Mrs. Don (Shirley) Westrick, Mrs. Robert (Betty Lou) Winchell, Mrs. Alma Weeks, Mrs. Oliver (Sandra) Skillum and Mrs. Jay (Geneva) Moss, all of Indianapolis; one son, James Franklin Gregory, also of Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde (Nina) Schnarr, Washington; Mrs. William (Versa) Hamm, Belfountaine, Ohio; and Mrs. Olive Hatfield, Norman, Oklahoma; three brothers, Martin and Homer Gregory, both of Indianapolis and Ralph Gregory, Washington. One son preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Gill Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Clifton officiating and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Reeve Township. Friends may call at the Gill Funeral Home.
