Fatal Accident
A sad accident, by which Charles Groves, twenty-three years old, son of Charles Groves, lost his life, occurred in the vicinity of Epsom, Friday 28th.
He was engaged in getting out saw logs, about two miles southeast of Epsom. while sawing down a tree a large limb fell and struck Charley on the side of the heard, narrowly missing the man with him.
The young man was taken to his father's house, where he died about one hour and a half afterward. He was never conscious after being struck.
The deceased was but recently married, and leaves a wife of six weeks to mourn his untimely end, besides relatives and acquaintances.

Note: Born 1863 in Indiana, died 5 Oct 1887, Spouse was Grace Catherine Nolley, married 1 Sept 1887, in Martin County.
