MONTGOMERY — Art Haag, 67, died at 12:35 a.m. Friday at his residence. Born Nov. 4, 1941, in Loogootee, he was the son of Clarence and Anna Louise (Burger) Haag. A 1959 graduate of St. John High School, he owned Haag Brothers Conservation Contractors, Inc., and was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Loogootee, Loogootee Knights of Columbus and Shoals Eagles Club. He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Jones) Haag, whom he married March 15, 1980; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Jeff Bullock of Montgomery; one stepson and his wife, Joe and Samantha Colvin of Montgomery; one stepdaughter, Cindy Colvin of Montgomery; and three grandchildren, Josh Bullock, Jerica Bullock and Brandon Colvin. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Haag. The family invites everyone to a Celebration of Life Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church. There will be no visitation and burial will take place at a later date.
