Mrs. Helen Hedrick

Mrs. Helen M. Hedrick, 66, 619 W. VanTrees St., died at 9:30 p.m. Friday following heart surgery at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Mrs. Hedrick had been ill several months and seriously ill one day. Born Nov 25, 1909 in Missouri, she was the daughter of Wm B. and Rebecca (Porter) Frazo. She married Loland Hedrick May 31, 1927, and he died Dec 12, 1974. Mrs. Hedrick was a member of the United Methodist church. She leaves four daughters and six sons, Edith I. Traylor, Washington; Mrs. Gerald (Ruth) Taylor, Seymour; Mrs. Cora Harris, Cannelburg; Mrs. John (June) Baugh, Washington; Robert R. Hedrick, Bloomington; Roy L. and James R. Hedrick, both of Bedford; Donald E. and Wm. E. Hedrick and Lolan Hedrick Jr., all of Washington; 34 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. One daughter died in infancy. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the V.L. Poindexter funeral home with the Rev. Lewis Williams as minister. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Reeve Twp. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday.
