Daviess County Woman Buried Monday Afternoon
Mrs. Ida E. HEDRICK, age
92, died at 1:15 Saturday morning at the home of a daughter, at 821 South
East First Street in Washington. She had been ill three years and seriously
ill for four weeks. Born September 2, 1856 in Reeve Township, Daviess
County, Mrs. HEDRICK was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chesterfield PERKINS.
She was married to George HEDRICKS; who died in 1919. Mrs. HEDRICK was
a member of the Oak Grove E. U. B. Church in Daviess County. Children
are: Austin HEDRICK and Minnie HEDRICK of Alfordsville and Mrs. Edmund
SHELTON of Washington. Five children are dead. She also leaves 14 grandchildren,
27 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services
were conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Oak Grove Church
with Rev. Emma HEMMELHEAVER in charge and burial in the church cemetery.
