Mrs. Sarah Norcut Dead
Mrs. Sarah Norcut died at her home near Odon Friday after an illness
of more than a year.
She was born Dec. 28, 1833 in Marion county, Ky. She lived in Kentucky
until 1870 when she came to Daviess county where she had since lived.
She was married in 1868 to Chas. Coyel. Three children were born to them,
one of whom is living. Mr. Coyel died in 1884 and she was again married
in 1889 to James Norcut, who died 14 years ago. Since the death of her
husband she has made her home with her children.
She was a member of Tolbert's chapel M. E. church. The funeral services
were held at Epsom chruch Sunday. Rev. H. Denbo of Plainville in charge.
