Bernard Peachee

Bernard Peachee, 85, 45 Lynwood Drive, Washington, died at the Washington Nursing Center at 1:25 p.m.Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Gill Chapel with interment in Sugarland Memory Gardens. Bro. Byron Black will officiate. 
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Masonic memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m. Fridayat the funeral home.

He was born December 25, 1902 at Adaza, Iowa to Clarence T. and Sarah Iby McCain Peachee. He married Geneva Brittain July 27, 1927 and she survives.

He owned and operated a garage at Glendale for over 40 years and later farmed until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the First Christian Church and Glendale Lodge No. 461 F. & AM.

Surviving are his wife and one daughter and one son, Mrs. Norma Whitaker, Whiteland, Ronald R. Peachee, Evansville, one grandson reared by Mr. and Mrs. Peachee, Steve Jones of Washington, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, one sister and four brothers, Mrs. Eula Browne, Evansville, Frank Hugh and Dean Jones, all of Washington, and Paul Jones, Hudsonville.

One daughter, Dana Lee Keller and one sister and three brothers are deceased.
