Alvie Wilton POTTS, 82, 249 Apraw Road, died at 2 p.m. Sunday at Prairie Village Nursing Home after a serious illness of two weeks. He was a retired framer and a Daviess County native, born Feb 16, 1891, to Alex and Martha (PRATER) POTTS. In 1914 he married Lucy Mae QUACKENBUSH, who survives him. Mr. POTTS was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Jack (Genevia) DAVIS, Seymour, IN; one son, Rahmond POTTS, Indianapolis; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are three barothers, Harley POTTS, Glendale, Ross and Paul POTTS, both of Montgomery. Two children died in infancy and one sister and four brothers have died. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gill Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove cemetery in Reeve township. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
