SARA H. REED, 90, DIED THURS.
Funeral services for Sarah Jane Reed, 90, 308 E. Mill Street, who died at the Colvin Nursing Home at 10:30 Thursday night, will be held at the Gill Chapel at 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. The Rev. A. B. Clarke will conduct services.
Mrs. Reed had been ill for two years and seriously ill for the past three months. She was born Oct 6, 1861, in Barr Twp, the daughter of Albert and Hannah L. (Honey) Perkins.
She was educated in the Barr schools and on Aug 1, 1888 (?), was united in marriage to Wesley W. Reed. He preceded her in death in July, 1920. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Christian church.
She leaves these children: Albert L. Reed, Odon, RR; Mrs. Effie Poindexter, Plainville; Mrs. Clara Jones, Indianapolis. Three children, John, Charles William, and Stella Reed are deceased. Grant Perkins, city, a brother, survives with seven nephews and three nieces.
