SCHNARR FUNERAL SET FOR MONDAY Mrs. Thelma Gertrude Schnarr, 58, Washington, Rt 4, died at 6 a.m. today at the Daviess County Hospital. She had been ill for two weeks and seriously ill for three days. Mrs. Schnarr was born in Daviess County Dec 29, 1910, a daughter of Sherman and Goldie (Davenport) Armes. She was marrried to Ralph J. Schnarr on Oct 1, 1930 and he survives. Mrs. Schnarr was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Omega Alpha Chi Sorority. A life-long resident of Daviess County, she was graduated from Glendale high school in 1929 and was employed as an ordinance worker at NAD Crane. Besides her husband, she leaves one son, R. Kenneth Schnarr, Washington, and one daughter, Mrs. Roland (Juanita) Shirley of North Hollywood, CA, and six grandchildren. One son preceded her in death. Also surviving are two brothers, Herbert and Hobart Armes, both of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Maudie) Potts, Camby, IN, and Mrs. George (Ruth) Young, Indianapolis. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, with the Rev. O. G. Howe officiating and burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gill Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The casket will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Monday and will not be opened at the church.
