CLARA TROWBRIDGE
Clara G. Trowbridge, 78, 103 Illinois St., died at 11:05 a.m. today at Daviess County Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Poindexter Funeral Home, Washington Chapel, with Rev. Fred Beedle officiating and burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 tonight.
She was born April 28, 1906 in Daviess County, the daughter of Hile and Rachel Abel Gammon. she was a member of General Baptist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Morris and Donald, both of Washington; B. Wane, Columbus; Gerald, Bloomington; three daughters, Phyllis Robinson, Washington; Mrs. Clem (Delores) Chestnut, Odon; Arlene Clara Murray, Lawerence; 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother, Claude Gammon, and four sisters, Lillie burrows, Mabel Scott, Hallie Boger and Alta Stevens, all of Washington.
She was preceded in death by two children, one brother and two sisters.
