Blondina I Wimmenauer, 77, 1814 State Street, died at her residence Tuesday at 4:30 a.m. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Gill Chapel. Father Lowell Will will officiate with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday & after 9 a.m. Friday until service time. Rosary service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday. She was born Nov.26,1920 in Loogootee to Chris & Cindy(Alford) Patterson. She married Albert Harold Ashby on Feb.8, 1937 & he proceeded her in death in April 1968. She then married William Wimmenauer on Dec.31, 1968 & he survives. Wimmenauer was retired from Uniroyal, Inc.. She had been educated in Loogootee & Washington schools. She was also a member of the St. Simon's Catholic Church & the American Legion Auxiliary. Also surviving are: three daughters, Sharon Wagler, Washington; Karen De Jarnett, Petersburg & Diana Fults Indianapolis; three sons, Jack & Kenneth Ashby, both of Washington, Dennis Ashby, San Diego, California; four stepchildren, Chris Wimmenauer, Washington Greg Wimmenauer Renton, Wa; Ron Wimmenauer Tulsa Oklahoma & Michael Wimmenauer Columbia Missouri; a sister Frankie Wilson, Washington; 26 grandchildren & 19 great-grandchildren. She was also proceeded in death by twins at birth, four sisters & five brothers.
