Franklin County Probate Inventories (1811-1860)

     These probate inventories were transcribed by Gary Stanton of the Department of Historic Preservation at      the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We thank him for making these files available      to our researchers.

     The University has now taken down the website which contained the inventories, but with Gary's      permission we are gradually moving the Franklin County files to our own server. In the meantime, you can      access them through the links on this page.
