Frank Jerrels

JANUARY 25, 1901 Gone to rest, little Frank Jerrels, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jerrels, died Sunday night about 9 o'clock, April 6, 1902, aged 3 years. He had been sick for about two weeks with the whooping cough, and then took pneumonia fever, which was too much for him to survive. His sweet voice and footsteps will be heard no more in the home. So the Heavenly Father garthered one more angel into his kingdom, for it is said in the Holy Bible: "Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not for such is the kingdom of heaven." So little Frank has left the world of suffering and gone to the land of rest. He leaves a father, mother, 3 sisters and one half sister and two half brothers to mourn his loss. He was lain to rest in the Judah cemetery Monday afternoon, April 7.
Weep not sorrowing friends, your darling is at rest.
Often from the heart comes the cry
Oh, why should our darling die.
Then comes the answer, solemn and deep
Parents, your son is asleep.
Friends and love have done their best,
And they can do no more.
The bitterness of death is rest,
And all his sufferings are o'er.
A Friend.
