The death of Miss Iva Stout occurred last night at her home in Jefferson township, after an illness of six months from tuberculosis. Her age was 19 years, 2 months and 9 days. She was the daughter of Solomon Stout and wife, and had lived in this county all of her life, where she held a large circle of friends
who grieve that a life in a flower of youth must be so cut down. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 o'clock, with services at the Winamac Christian church and interment on the hill.

Ethel , the two years old daughter of Barney Stiles, died Monday, at the home of James Clements and wife southwest of town several miles, who had been caring for it, its mother being dead. It died from convulsions resulting from malarial congestion. The funeral was Tuesday, services at Oak Grove by Rev. W.C. Belcher being followed by interment here.

Mrs. Samuel Imler of Indian Creek died Tuesday, after a long illness from stomach, which had been quite severe for three weeks. Her age was 45 years, and she was well known over the southern part of the county.

One marriage license this week: to Harry Biedman and Olive Baughman. They were married Sunday at the home of the bride by Rev. J.B. Dunkleberger. The groom is a Fulton County harness maker.

Hanged to a Door Hinge. Chris Hintz of Beaver township takes His Own Life as the Finale of Carousal.
As stated, Chris Hintz was all right when away from liquor, and as the quiet and honorable farmer his relatives and friends will of course prefer to remember him. He himself was his worst enemy. He age was 73 years, 6 months and 9 days. He leaves widow, several children, brothers and sisters and other friends who respected him for what good there was in him. The funeral was on Tuesday. It was not held from the Lutheran Church in Beaver, nor was the burial in the cemetery there. Services were held at the Francesville cemetery, by Rev. Gale of the White Post Lutheran church followed by interment in the Francesville cemetery.

Mrs. Martha Knapp of Thornhope died yesterday morning at the home of her son, Charles and daughter Alice with whom she lived (illegible) caused death. She was the widow of Nelson Knapp who has been dead 28 years. She leaves two children besides those with whom she lived-Mrs. Alma Bartling of Winamac and Ralph Knapp of Michigan. The funeral is to be held Satruday forenoon, with services at the house at Thornhope, to be followed by interment in the Gross Cemetery east of Winamac.

W.W. Shellhart and Mrs. Amy Little were married Saturday afternoon, by Rev. J. Herron Miller, at his rooms in the Frain, in the presence of a small company of relatives and friends. The groom is a Pan Handle employee, and the bride is the eldest daughter of H.G. Hendry and wife living five miles up the
river. The pair have the best wishes of numerous admiring friends. They will shortly be housekeeping in a cozy cottage on Hathaway Street.

The marriage of two of Winamac's most popular young people is booked for Saturday evening. The "victims" are Charles Johnson and Miss May Hoch. The groom is well known plumber, and the bride is the eldest daughter of George Hoch living on a farm a mile south of town. After the ceremony, which will be performed by Rev. J.H. Miller at his rooms, the party will begin housekeeping in West Pearl Street cottage already prepared for their occupancy. The Democrat heartily joins their numerous friends in advance congratulations.

Miss Nellie Dyer and Elmer Jones were married yesterday noon at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Carrie Griffin, at Medaryville. The bride is better known by her step-father's name, Griffin, and is popular as one of the county's school teachers. Mr. Jones is in the bakery business at Francesville, where
they will live. He worked in Winamac for a time. Following is a list of those present at this wedding:
