Evidence based on y-DNA Research

John E Key. "Our Key ancestry had hit a “Brick Wall.” Researchers have been looking for the father of Simon Key and Price Key for a long time. A recent DNA match raises the       possibility that our surname came from the John Key-Martin Key line but our Y-DNA came from the Ford line (one of the many variants of Foate)."
