Thomas PATTON b. ca. 1755, d. 1834 in Fayette Co., IN, reported to have served in the Rev. War from MD. He was in OH by 1810. His son William PATTON m. Rebecca ESSLEY 1818 in Franklin Co, IN. William PATTON to Delaware Co, IN where his dau Nancy PATTON m. Rial SIMMONS in 1838. Rial was the son of Peter SIMMONS who d. 1835 in Delaware Co.

John MALINOWSKI, Jr was born Sept 1886 in Grand Rapids, MI. He married Augusta of St. Joseph, MI. They had 3 children: Vincent, Ruth and Edward. Sometime after the 1920 census John moved to Muncie. He was living there in 1940, when his father died. A family letter (from the 60's or 70's) mentions his son, Edward still living in the same house in Muncie. I assume his father, John had died by then. There are no MALINOWSKI's listed in the current Muncie directory. Can someone check an old city directory to see when John was last listed? Are there indexed obituaries for the Muncie area? All ideas to help narrow down his death date would be appreciated.

(Mary shows up in the Monroe twp.Del.Co.In. census in 1850 & 1860 and then is not in 1870 or 1880 census so am presuming she did sometime between these census.) I am looking for information on Humphrey/Umphrey &/or Sophronia SUTTON. Humphrey was born in Kentucky about 1795 and married Sophronia GILMORE there in 1818. They lived in Wayne County by 1820 & my gg grandfather was born there in 1832 - the last of at least 6 children. In May of 1839 they sold their Wayne County lot but they had already moved to Delaware County. They are not on the 1850 census & I do not know what happened to them. Would someone be so kind as to check the Deed Index to see if they bought or sold land in Delaware County? Oliver remained in Delaware County until his death in 1900.

Information on Amos H. BAKER born Dec. 25, 1839 and died July 3,1919. Amos lived in Delaware County Indiana where he is believed to have come from Butler County Pa. He married Sarah REYNOLDS from Blackford County Indianadate unknown. I believe Amos was a member of the 35 or 36 Indianna Volunteers. I am after information preseeding the mid 1880s back to his birth and the family line before him. I am also after information on Lizzie "Shonara" who may have been a native american indian and who married Alf Baker on the 24th of July 1890 in Gant County Indiana. I am researching the PEARSON line of my family. My grandmother Elois Pearson was born in Muncie In. in 1902. Her parents were Herbert Pearson and Allice ROHRER Pearson. They were living at 1715 Macidonia Ave Muncie In. at the time Elois was born (an at-home birth). Herbert Pearson parents were Lemnel Pearson and Angelina HARVEY. I have no information on any of them. Allice Rohrer's parents were Rudolph Rohrer and Hannah Alexander. Allice was born in Tipton but I have no other information.

Seeking information on g-grandfather Isaac GOSSETT and g-grandmother, Dilsie Violet JONES GOSSETT. They arrived in Delaware County from Lawrence Co., OH just before 1900 with their children Edmond, Alonzo, Allen and Maggie, first residing in Albany, then moving to Muncie about 1903. Would like verification of Allen Gossett's death in 1902. I have been told he's buried in Strong Cemetary in Albany, but someone else said there are no Gossett graves there. Isaac GOSSETT disappeared from family in 1905; Dilsey listed herself as a widow from then on, but her son listed him alive after that time. Dilsey reportedly remarried in 1920 and on app said previous marriage ended by death in 1920. I am also seeking info on Dilsey; she also went by the name of Violet D. GOSSETT. After marriage to Stephen C. of Henry Co., in 1920, she reappeared in Muncie directories in 1924, under her original married name of GOSSETT. She disappeared from the directories in 1930, about the time she was supposed to have died. Have not found a death certificate or obit for her, and know she was not brought back to OH. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking information on STEPHEN JESTER. He resided in Henry Co. until 1920's. We have a marriage application from 1920 when he was applying for a license to marry our ggrandmother, VIOLET D GOSSETT. We can find no record of what happened to her after 1930, or to MR JESTER, or if there ever was a marriage after the application. He may have died about 1924. Violet was back in Muncie by 1925. Looking for info on a Emma STINER/STEINER who married - Jacob H. CARMAN/CARMINE September 11, 1887. There is a death record for a Emma CARMINE in 1888. I would like to get a copy of the Obituary for this person. Also find out what cemetery she is buried in. All I know is that she died in Delaware County. BRANSON, Mary Jane Is there someone in the county who could look up info on this lady - actually same name,but perhaps two different ladies. One of them is my gg grand mother.I've found marriage records that say one married my gg grand dad Asa DAVIS in 1846. But another record says a Mary Jane married a John Kiger in 1843. Latter husband could have died, but census info says otherwise. Perhaps the Mary Jane that married Asa was a Quaker.Am trying to determine this as well as the parents of the Mary Jane Branson that married Asa Davis in 1846 in Delaware Co. IN. It also appears from census records both Mary's were born in Ohio probably 1820- 1826 range.Other useful info would be dates and location where Branson families lived and townships.And death dates and locations.
