Would like to find information on the family of Thomas Summers DEAN who were among first settlers circa 1830.

Jonathan BENTLEY, with son's Joseph & Obadiah, migrated from Grayson Co. Va. to Fayette Co. Ohio then arrived in Delaware Co. Ind, Mt. Pleasant Tw'p. in 1828. Joseph stayed till 1852 then went over the Oregon Trail to Oregon City with part of family. Obadiah removed to Shelby Co. Ill. and Moultrie Co. Ill, then, finally to Wilson Co. Kans. Some of Joseph's children married in Delaware County as follows: Elizabeth to Daniel ADAMS; Lydia to Clinton ANTHONY & W'm DeWITT;, Sydia to Frank SELLERS; Julian Anne to John MORGAN; and Jeffrey to Elizabeth WOOD CARMAN. Joseph and family arrived in Wilson Co. Kansas in 1857 and remained there. Will trade information.

Henry J.(?) LYONS was born in l854 in Delaware County, father John Lyons who supposedly was born in PA. I found a John Lyons who died in Henry County in l891, but I find no record of him at at any other time. I was told that he owned land in Delaware County and also Henry County but I could not find any record of that in Henry county. I was also told that John returned to Delaware County where he died. There were a number of brothers to Henry, John, Jim, and some other Lyons of another generation, Perry, Wilbert.

William Lou HAHN, born 3/2/1898, in Daleville. Father was Jacob Howard Hahn and mother was Theoria Wable. Looking for any information to substantiate this information I received from my father.

Jacob Howard HAHN, born abt 1870, died 12/25/1953 in Daleville, Delaware County, and Theoria WABLE, born abt 1878 and died 1932 in Daleville, Delaware County. Son is William Lou HAHN, born 3/2/1987 Daleville, Delaware County and died 11/4/1947 in Elwood, Madison County. William married Lesta Jane SOSBE, born 10/23/1899 and died 9/6/1949. Lesta's father was William James SOSBE and mother Mary Katherine ??. Any information would be appreciated.

Searching for information on the MCALLISTERs of Delaware County. I show Daniel A. FUNKHOUSER married a Julia MCALLISTER, and William H FUNKHOUSER married an Anna MCALLISTER, and a Mary J.FUNKHOUSER married a Joseph MCALLISTER.I'm told, but have no proof, that Julia may have been adopted. Does anyone have any information on this family?

Richard Delmar CHALFANT (went by Dick) Looking for info on the above mentioned who was born was in Muncie or maybe the Parker City area in ca. 1898 and died in July of 1965. He had one daughter Joyce Ann and was married to Mildred Bowers daughter of Ella JOHNSTON and George BOWERS. He divorced when Joyce was small and rarely saw her-remarrying and having no other children. Looking for info on his parents and siblings as I have been told they all lived in that area. Thanks. I am trying to find out some of the death dates of all the MAYS' that died in the last 10 years. I know that Henry MAYS died in Delaware county. It was in Muncie. But I would like to know what the obit said. There was a Henry Hartman that died when he was a couple of years old. He died in 1966 in Muncie. He was killed by a car accident. I think he was pinned between two cars. Hope someone can help with these names. Thank you

Robert George WILSON born Sept 29, 1883 Desota IN / died June 1933 Gaston IN Married Bessie Leona TROUT June 1902 - born June 13,1884 Gaston IN / died Feb. 22, 1970 Circleville OH Robert George had a brother Joseph born 1873 who married Helen McNeese and a sister Anna Wilson born 1863 who married John Boots. Robert George father was George Robert Desota IN who married Lydia Agnes BONNER also of Desota IN. His father was Robert George - that's all the information on the grandfather's side.

I am searching for any information concerning John KELLY/KELLEY, who was living in Delaware County,Muncie,at the time of his brother's (Patrick)death in 1908. John's parents' names were Bernard KELLY/KELLEY and Mary LANGER(?). John probably entered the United States via New Orleans around 1846 with his brother, Patrick. When Patrick entered the US from LA, he traveled north, building canals to Delaware County. I am also looking for any information on Patrick as well.
