I am seeking information on Peter MILLER (b. abt 1800 in VA) & Polly (Mary) Hays. They came to Delaware County Indiana in the 1830's. They lived in Mt. Pleasant Township near Yorktown. Peter died in 1868. Children: Eliza, Harriet, Henry, Jackson, Mary, Alexander, Simon, Perry, Noah.

HOLADAY/MCKINLEY/CUMMINGS/TUDOR/EASTES - looking for descend- ants and ancestors of my 2nd gr. grandparents Albert HOLADAY (b.1865 IN) and Mary Elizabeth McKINLEY (b.1873 IN). They are shown on the 1920 census in Muncie, IN with their only living child, Donald Albert Holaday (age 12). Albert was one of sev- eral children of Oliver and Nancy (Wyatt) HOLADAY (of Henry Co. IN). His siblings included Eli, William H., James, Marcus, Oliver, Mary E., Ellen, Martha, Malinda A., Nancy E., Josephine and John. Donald married into the TUDOR family of William S. and Lydia Ida (Sheron) Tudor (of Grant Co.). I will be glad to share information that I have with other descendants!

Deleware Co. I am seeking information on Thomas SWEETMAN b aabt 1812/1814 in Pa. and married Elizabeth BLACKFORD in Deleware Co. 1843. There is a possibility for a previous marriage or his family members went with him and his wife west to Iowa. On the 1860 Census for Appanoose County Iowa, Walnut Twp. in the household is a Jacob Sweetman age 22 and a Martin Sweetman age 20. Thomas Sweetman died in 1872 in Iowa, Elizabeth died in 1890 in Iowa and both are buried in the Hanes Cemetery, Appanoose County Iowa. Any information on the Sweetman name will be greatly appreciated.

GILLAND 1875-1925 who was married to a JULIA A. HUMMER 1875-1952. I know that they lived around Eaton. I would like to know who their parents were and where they came from. I'm searching for information on my Great-Grandparents Alpha M. SHEPPARD b.1873 d.1948 and his wife Lucinda b.1874 d. 1941. Their daughter Leona Pearl Sheppard was my grandmother she was married to John GILLAND and ? Cumings. I think they might have been from the Eaton area since they are buried in the old Eaton Cemetary. I'm trying to find out about a John Philip OTT b. 1870/71 who lived in MUNCIE until about 1906/07 before moving to TOLEDO. He married a woman from YORKTOWN b. 1883/84 called DAISY [maiden name unkown]. Presumably this marriage took place between 1900-1905. Specifically, I'd like to know: 1. Who John OTT's father was. 2. His address [City Directory Lookup] 3. Who he married i.e. Daisy's maiden name. 4. Willard St. or Ave. Got married in Cinti. in the year 1904 to a Hattie FETTERS. Returned to Ind. sometime after this date. Am researching the family of Samuel RICHARDSON who moved from Ohio ca. 1830. He appears on the 1830 census as living in Henry Co. IN. Later Samuel marries in Delaware Co. to Sarah BARTLET 1838 and dies in 1839 leaving Delaware property to his wife. He mentions sons Mark and John Richardson in his will. I am searching for a connection to S.C. Richardson who married Nancy CUMMINS of Henry Co. IN in 1840(unproved) This marriage was mentioned in Nancy Richardson's obituary April 1893. Would like to hear from anyone reseaching this family.
