My gg grandparents were John W. SMITH and Mary ATCHISON. They owned a farm which was the northwest quarter of section 11 in Monroe Township. An old brick Italianate house still stands on the farm, south of Pierceton, near where highway 13 and county road 650E meet. They owned the farm approximately 1859 to 1891. It is also called the Roy Flanders farm. Do any of you know the history of the farm or of this SMITH family? I would like to connect with any descendants. My g grandfather was their son, James Delay SMITH, who served in Company G of the 129 regiment and was wounded in Georgia. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Looking for the grave of Griffith (died 15 Jan 1874) and his wife Jane MORGAN (died 7 Apr 1877). I have copies of a letter dated (7 Feb 1877) from Jane Morgan and from Jane HORNER, de daughter (dated 11 Apr 1877), the latter telling of her mother's death. Both letters have the name Monterey, just next to the date. I presume this means the letters came from Monterey, Pulaski County or Monterey Village, Hamilton County. I know they lived in Indiana, but always though they lived in Kosciusko County. Jane MORGAN's son, Joh MORGAN (died 1 May 1877) appears to have died there as well. Would sure appreciate any help!

To whom it may concern. I was searching the internet for other info and as an off chance, I entered my surname ie. HINORA. Until now we were of the belief that there were no other Hinora's in the world. We live in South Australia having emigrated from Hungary following the second world war. You can imagine my surprise when I found another Hinora in the Times-Union Court News dated 10/15/96. The person's name is Alicia L Hinora, 39 Etna Green. Her name appears in the Marriage Licenses segment together with Herman McGUIRE of 48 North CR 400E, Warsaw. I would like to make contact with Alicia and her family and seek what ever help you may be able to provide in this matter. There is only one Hinora in all of Australia (our family). It comprises, my parents Guyla (85) and Margaret (82) my sister Mary Szabo (56) myself Joseph (50) and my two sons Christian (25) and Justin (20).
