SHIELDS and Anna ? and children, Job - b ca 1830 OH, Margaret - b ca 1834 OH, Isham - b ca 1839 IN and William - b ca 1840 OH. Anna and children were found in Harrison Twn. on 1850 Kosciusko Co Census. Oldest son, Job had married Letitia ROMINE and was also still living in Kosciusko Co in 1850. Mr. SHIELDS had apparently died before that time. Also in the household in 1850 were: Jane DAWSON age 23 b OH and Joseph HAPP (HUFF) age 6 b IN. The family had moved to Newton County (Jackson Twn) by 1860, and then on to Bates Co., MO (Mt. Pleasant Twn) by 1870. Would like to fill in the blanks in parents' names, and would appreciate any information you can share about where the parents came from or what happened to Mr. SHIELDS. Any information about the family will be a great help.

I am looking for information on the James Harvey FRANK family that lived in the Jackson Township of Kosciusko County during the years between 1843 and 1854. They are listed in the 1850 census with the following information:
Harvy Frank 33, Farmer, $1500 value of land, born in VA. Mary Frank 27, born in PA. Sarah E. Frank, 7, born in OH. Thomas J. Frank, 1, born in IN.

Harvy (James Harvey) Frank was born in 1818 to Sarah and Martin Frank who lived in Champaign County OH. It looks like he moved with his family to Indiana sometime after 1843 when his daughter Sarah was born. He died in 1854 and is buried in the Reformed Cemetery in St. Paris, Jo. Tp., in Champaign County. Mary and Thomas J. (JEFFERSON) Frank are then listed in the 1860 census as living in Champaign county OH. It looks like Sarah must have died before 1860 since she is not listed in the 1860 census or she moved. Thomas J. was born in Indiana (I would assume in Kosciusko County).
I am looking for any land records which might have shown the purchase of land in Kosciusko County by Harvey Frank. I am also looking for any birth records for Thomas Jefferson Frank. In the event that Sarah died sometime during that period, I need to know if there is any mention of her death or possible burial in the county. Any help you could give would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

PERRY, Levi Oliver
PERRY, Henry E.
Seeking information on early pioneer and settler circa 1825 of Kosciusko, Allen and Noble Cos., Levi O. PERRY and particularly his son, Henry E. PERRY. Levi O. PERRY b abt 1790 Wales, emigrated to the US in 1803 with his father and family, and was one of the first settlers in Delaware Co, OH. He married Elizabeth MEEKER there and had first son, Benjamin Francis PERRY in 1818. (No solid death dates are available on any of these individuals--only last known census appearance.) The family left OH for Indiana some time after that, and son Henry E. PERRY was b IN in 1823. Henry E. PERRY returned to Delaware Co, OH at some unknown time where he had many relatives, and married his widowed older first cousin, Jane PERRY RANDEL/RANDELL (b1817 in Delaware Co, OH to Robert PERRY, Levi's brother) in 1844. She had two children by her first marriage, Martha RANDALL and Eden RANDALL, and had a son by Henry E. PERRY, who was called Henry or Harry PERRY. (All these Henrys are not to be confused with Jane PERRY's grandfather--father of Levi and Robert--Henry P. PERRY or with Jane's younger brother, Henry PERRY who married a LAVENDAR.) Written accounts claim that Henry E. PERRY and Jane PERRY RANDALL PERRY returned to northern Indiana. This may be where their son, Henry/Harry, was born. They may have lived there for 8 to 10 years, before moving to Iowa where dau. Martha RANDALL married in 1853. (Henry E. and Jane appear to have died in Iowa, his date unknown, hers in 1894). I am missing all information on Henry E. PERRY and his family during their years in Indiana.

I have a copy of the marriage license for John JOHNSON and Susan NEFF, Kosciusko Co, IN, marriage took place on 21 May 1871. Other info I have on them, just from family records: John's middle initial was "J"; John b 22 Mar 1833, d 16 May 1902; John and Susan married in Etna Green; Susan's previous surname was SNIDER; Susan's child Ella Azelea JOHNSON b 21 June 1871 in Etna Green (Ella was my great grandmother - I have extensive info on her descendants. Azelea spelled many different ways in the records); John married Mary Elizabeth MALLOT, who was b 29 May 1834, d 9 Feb 1912 (notation - stepmother); John and wife (which?) with Ella moved to Phillips Co, Kansas, in 1882.
Questions:
Was John married before he married Susan? (in view of his age). Was Susan a pregnant widow? Who were her parents and who was Mr. Neff? Any other connecting names and dates appreciated.
