Looking for information on William KELLY, b. 1792 in VA(?), died 1849 Koscuisko Co. William and his first wife, Rebecca (died 1839 Koscuisko Co.), had 8 children: Hester, John, Ann, Samuel, Mary Ann, Henry, William and Jane, all born in OH between 1818 and 1828. William and his family moved to Koscuisko Co., sometime between 1828 and 1839. William married second Sophronia MYRICK in 1847 in Koscuisko Co. Any information you could give me on William (who were his parents, where was he born, what was his first wife's maiden name) would be greatly appreciated. I have info to exchange on his descendants. I am looking for descendants of Wesley STAFFORD (1792, Va-1850s, IN) through his sons: William (B. 1822, married Christina); James (B.1828, married Sarah); Francis (B. 1830, married Isabella MCCOURTNEY); Thomas (B. 1835, married Martha WINE); Joseph (B 1837); Martin (B. 1840); Andrew (1842-1915). Wesley died probably in Fayette County, Indiana, and then his widow and children all moved to Kosciusko County in the 1850s. They were present by 1855, and nearly all of his sons fought in the Civil War with units from Koscusko County.

Would like to hear from anyone researching the CAVE or RUNKLE families of the southeast corner of Kosciusko and the South Whitley area. My g grandfather was Perry CAVE married to Sarah Baumgardner. Perry's parents were Benjamin F. CAVE and Dicy RUNKLE CAVE. They are buried at the old HIDY(CAVE farm)cem. My Perry and Sarah went to Wilson county KS in 1870's.
